Guest Speaker: Professor Bei Zhao, PhD, Xiamen University
Moderator: Jeffrey Cooper, The Richard Petritz Foundation
2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China’s reforms, shifting from a centrally-planned to a more market-based economy. As the world’s second-largest economy, China has proved to be a rising super-power. But will China be able to sustain this economic growth?
Professor Bei Zhao will provide an “insider” perspective on China. Her presentation will leave us with a better understanding of China’s culture, systems, values, and economy.
