March 10, 2018 | Denver

The 115th US Congress and the Trump Administration have revised the US tax code. But the debate continues over what reform should be.

Fee $25* - Add to Cart

Join us for an exploration of what the current tax code looks like, the most compelling reasons for reform and the implications of those choices. Along the way, you’ll get some ideas (and lessons) on how best to teach your students about taxes in some engaging ways. Whether in your classroom, in the teachers’ lounge or at a dinner party, social studies and business teachers should be sources of reliable information on this topic.. Regardless of whether you teach business or any of the social studies subjects, or just want to be the go-to person in the teachers’ lounge, you should be conversant on the topic of taxes. This class should really help you out.
