The Stock Market Experience Coordinator will manage the overall implementation, administration and marketing of EconLitCo’s proprietary stock market simulation program, which is utilized by teachers statewide as part of their classroom experience in teaching personal financial literacy (PFL) and economics. Responsibilities include building relationships with and providing excellent customer service to educators, overseeing teacher enrollment in the program, managing and implementing teacher training, and assisting with the Stock Market Experience Awards Ceremony in the spring.
*This part-time position averages 25 hours per week and may require additional hours during peak times in the school including August, November, and April as well as fewer hours in June and July. This position may also infrequently require additional hours on evenings and weekends for special events and teacher training.
Oversee the general operation of the Stock Market Experience (SME) program.
Develop working knowledge of SME simulation platform hosted through StockTrak.
Establish positive working relationship with StockTrak Administrator to maintain and enhance the SME platform.
Foster relationships with teachers, school districts, vendors and partner organizations.
Provide excellent customer service to teachers through communication and prompt response to program inquiries.
Manage the SME Measurement program including teacher recruitment, data collection and interpretation.
Coordinate the SME Mentored Investment Challenge program by enlisting and training volunteers, and pairing them with teachers to serve as mentors for the classroom.
Identify and provide curriculum that supports standards for teachers; regularly update a teacher resource database where lesson plans can be shared.
Develop and facilitate all Stock Market Experience teacher trainings.
Co-plan and execute the annual Stock Market Experience Awards Ceremony in spring, including venue contract, budget management, program speaker and presenter coordination, catering, awards, marketing, and more.
Provide program information to the Development Director for grant writing content, as requested.
Serve as staff liaison to the Stock Market Experience Committee: schedule committee meetings (2-3/year), develop agendas, take notes, and write board reports.
Market SME to Colorado school districts to generate increased participation.
Manage social media content and posts for the SME program.
Represent and promote the SME program at various exhibitions/booths and events.
Coordinate marketing opportunities with in-kind media sponsors.
Update SME content as needed in marketing materials, and on the econlitco.org and stockmarketexperience.org websites.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and/or work in related discipline, preferably education.
Teaching experience and knowledge of the Stock Market Experience program a plus.
A proven track record in program management and/or training and teaching abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred proficiency in research, interpreting, and analyzing data.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve EconLitCo’s goals.
Excellent skills in social media, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Physical demands may involve lifting materials and equipment up to 25 pounds.
Driving and occasional travel required.
Occasional evening and weekend work required.
Part-time employees are eligible for sick, holiday, vacation and personal leave benefits pro-rated on the number of hours worked.
