CENTER FOR ECONOMIC EDUCATION
In 1978, Economic Literacy Colorado developed a partnership with the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (UCCS) to establish a Center for Economic Education. This Center, run by UCCS Economics professors and Center Director, Professor John Brock, collaborates with EconLitCo to develop accredited graduate level classes for K-12 teachers, taught by UCCS or UCCS-approved professors.
NATIONAL AFFILIATION
Economic Literacy Colorado is part of a network of state councils led by the national nonprofit Council for Economic Education in New York City. Each year, this network of over 200 affiliates trains more than 55,000 teachers who reach approximately 5 million students.
