The Role of International Organizations in the Economy: Why Do We Have Them and What Do They Do?, September 14 | Hybrid (Colorado Springs/Online) | Accredited

This course began as a request from a couple of HS teachers, and matches up well with HS standards for geography, economics, and civics.  This area is a focus on Dr. Khan’s research, both with funding nations in the developed world and emerging nations using the resources of these international organizations to develop their economies. We will focus on the different roles and responsibilities of these organizations – how do the missions of the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and World Trade Organization co-exist without overlapping?  We will also focus on the wealth of videos and lessons developed by those organizations to explain their goals and country-specific efforts to students.
