Virtual Training Session Available

Thursday September 8th at 4 pm.

here’s how it works

Teachers register and set up teams of one to five students. Teachers devote whatever class time they wish to the contest. Some spend 20 minutes during several class meetings early in the contest to get students oriented and trading, then set aside 5 to 20 minutes per week for teams to assess performance and make trades.

All teams start with $100,000 in a virtual account. Teams are ranked by total portfolio return throughout the contest. Accounts are frozen at the end of business on the last trading day to determine the final rankings. After the competition has ended, accounts will be unfrozen so students can continue investing for several months and see how their investments turn out over a longer period of time.
